MEREDITH AND KOL UNCOVER A NEW THREAT- When Freya helps Meredith with a routine patrol through the city, the pair unearths a long-buried text written by Elizabeth Bathory, detailing the rise of vampire society from the shadows, which the leaders of Osvajac seek to attain for themselves. Meanwhile, Sofya meets with Ethan Crane at the Strix compound and a violent outburst from Elijah Mikaelson puts Valentina's mission in jeopardy.
